Présent au spectacle de First Exit jeudi le 8 décembre 2011, M. Marc Chaunet, animateur à la station de radio CKRL pour l’émission Terra Incognita, a confirmé l’ajout de First Exit à son répertoire musical. Il a de plus ajouté que la formation québécoise sonnait encore mieux live! Dès samedi le 10 décembre, le groupe progressif québécois se fera entendre dès 22h00.

First Exit se produira au Bar-spectacle l’Agitée, le jeudi 8 décembre 2011 dès 20h00. Le prix d’entrée est de 5$.

Pierre Morency, auteur des paroles et compositeur de cette chanson, s’est associé à Louis, chanteur/auteur/compositeur/interprète, et à son groupe First Exit, Jean Ruel et Sylvain Migneault pour les arrangements et la réalisation de YOM.

La formation québécoise est en studio pour l’enregistrement d’une chanson dont les détails vous seront révélés prochainement. C’est aux Productions Unika de Québec que le groupe travaille depuis le vendredi le 27 novembre:” On a fait beaucoup de chemin en très peu de temps. Cette chanson, n’étant pas de notre crue, on a mis plus d’énergie à bien la sentir. C’est toujours excitant d’être en studio, d’expliquer le guitariste Jean Ruel.” ” Il s’agit de quelque chose de différent mais on doit faire en sorte qu’elle soit parfaite. C’est clair qu’il y avait du travail à faire. On surprendra sûrement les gens avec ce style tout à fait différent de tout ce que l’on a pu faire, de dire Louiss.”

La chanson va maintenant tourner dans ma ville natale, Rivière-du-Loup, et dans d’autres municipalités de la région. C’est une belle sensation! de terminer le chanteur.”
Daniel St-Pierre, le grand Manitou des animatrices et animateurs de la station CIEL-FM 103,7 et CIBL-FM 107,1, avait choisi, plus tôt cet été, la chanson fétiche du groupe First Exit:” Elle sera en onde en rotation dans nos 2 stations, de nous annoncer ce dernier.”
First Exit continue sa route et, maintenant, plus d’une vingtaine de radios ont adopté leurs mélodies.

La filière progressive, une émission de radio complètement dédiée au « Rock Progressif », consacrera un bloc de 2 chansons, Dreaming of happiness et Son of a child, cette dernière ayant été écourtée, au groupe québécois First Exit, juste avant celui de Dream Theater, sur les ondes de ZRADIO FM Internet et de RCN RADIO Internet. Par la suite, les stations affiliées 101,7 FM Sorel-Tracy et 96,9 Fm Lévis placeront la musique progressive du groupe aux multiples inluences dans leur playlist.
Rappelons que First Exit tourne déjà dans plusieurs radios au Québec, en Ontario, à Paris, à New-York et que des contacts ont récemment été créés en Angleterre, en Suisse et en Australie.
En cette fin de mois d’août, First Exit tourne sur Paris! La station W.FM a choisi la chanson Worst trip of my life! À 15h00 aujourd’hui ce samedi 29 août, la chanson a tourné à 2 reprises! Elle fera désormais partie de leur playlist!
